Recently, we have several cases that users upload the large capacity paper tray and other paper trays in our Ricoh printers. The large capacity tray can take maximum 3 packs of paper (1500 sheets), and other paper trays can take maximum 1 pack of paper (500 sheets). If you overload those paper trays, those builtin sensors won’t be able to detect the paper and will report “no paper” error. In some extreme cases overloaded paper will block the pickup rollers and causing paper jam. Large sign have been posted at the two Botany Ricoh printers to remind users not to overload paper.
