BlueJeans provides an interoperable cloud-based video meetings service that connects many users across different devices. We can provide video conferencing session for up to 25 participants globally.
Starting on Dec. 1, 2018, we will only accept requests for the new inSync backup service. The old Crashplan backup service will be discontinued on Mar. 14, 2019.

All Botany Drupal websites (botany.ubc.ca, in.botany.ubc.ca, db.botany.ubc.ca) are not available between 3-5pm on Wednesday, Mar 13, 2019.
- Botany Drupal websites update
All Botany Drupal websites will be unavailable briefly between 4-5PM on Wednesday, Feb 20 for security updates.
- We are moving into UDC!
After long waiting in the queue, we finally get hold of our rack in the UBC Data Centre in the Pharmaceutical Sicences Building. We are moving our servers into this state-of-art facility.
- Botany Backup Service back to normal
Due to backup storage system migration request by UBC IT, Botany Backup service was unavailable for a few days. It took more time to migrate than we expected. But finally this service is back to normal since early on Saturday, Feb 9.
- Botany websites maintenance – done
Several Botany websites were temporary unavailable for maintenance. Now we have applied the security patches. Everything should be back to normal.
- Backup service recovered
Botany backup service is now back to work around 3PM on Jan 16, 2019. There was some storage problem. We contacted UBC IT, and they have fixed the problem.
- New Backup System – inSync

Some users were unable to access Workday starting from 07:20 PT. Access was restored at 07:55 PT. Technicians are currently investigating the root cause of the issue.
