Xerox Workcentre 6400

The Workcentre 6400 is a multifunction printer capable of printing to letter and legal size paper. Botany users may access the department’s machines at the following locations:

  • outside Room 2231 in the Biological Sciences Building
  • Room 229 in the Beaty Biodiversity Research Centre

Copying and Scanning

To copy or scan documents, select the corresponding function from the touch panel. Enter your 7-digit UBC employee ID as the user ID and then select the account that you would like to charge the job to. For detailed instructions on copying and on sending scanned documents to email, please refer to the relevant sections in the Quick Use Guide.

The Workcentre 6400 does not have a fax function. To send a fax, you must use the Xerox ColorQube 9203 machine located in Room 3528B of the Biological Sciences Building.

Network Printing

To send print jobs to the Workcentre over the network, please refer to the guides listed below. Click the link corresponding to the operating system installed on your PC or laptop.
